When you 2vs2 random and end up with another Protoss player, make sure you have detection in your base.
Now I had Photon Cannons, so DT's weren't really an issue for me. However my teammate decided not to have Photon Cannons... He also decided not to have Observers.
Now I had an observer building, but it wasn't quick enough to build then run to his base and save him.
This pretty much cost him his base, and me my chance of winning. I made a push after that but it was too late. Then my partner decides, instead of attacking with me, to suicide into the opponent.
It can be frustrating playing 2vs2 random.
